When acetylcholine is blocked it can diminish the wrinkles within a few days by causing paralysis of the muscle. 




What it is Like to Get Botox Injection?

Botox is an in-office procedure done by a trained and certified injector. The procedure just takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. A small needle is used to inject Botox which feels like a little pinch. You need to avoid lying face down or exercising the rest of the day but you can resume your daily activities soon after. There may be some bruising from an injection.

After Botox is given, expect to start seeing results within 72 hours. Optimal results appear 7-10 days after treatment and can last several months.

Botox is given at any age.
